Service Description

Welcoming the new year with wonder, warmth, and winter rhythms. Start the year with a joyful day of connection, play, and reflection on the farm. Our January Winter Camp offers children a chance to celebrate the turning of the year through hands-on experiences with nature, animals, and seasonal crafts that honour winter’s quiet beauty. We’ll care for the animals, explore the snowy landscape, and talk about the natural cycles of rest and renewal we see all around us. Children will be invited to set simple intentions for the new year, create symbolic crafts, and take part in gentle winter cycles that honour both stillness and growth of nature and the world around them. Camp activities may include: -Feeding and caring for the chickens, goats, and bunnies -Tracking winter wildlife and observing animal habits in the snow -Snow play, sledding, and shelter-building (weather permitting) -Seasonal crafts to welcome the new year (e.g., intention candles, nature mobiles) -Storytelling and circle time to reflect on what we are grateful for and what we’re welcoming in -Warm snacks, nature tea, and quiet time in our cozy indoor space, if needed We spend most of the day outdoors, following the rhythm of the land and the children. Our indoor classroom is always available when bodies need a break from the cold.
