SUMMER CAMP
Summer at The Barnyard Classroom is hands-on, outdoors, and rooted in real farm life.

We are a small hobby farm, which means children experience authentic farm work in a calm, close-knit setting. Our camp maintains low ratios — 10 students to 1 Ontario Certified Teacher — ensuring personalized attention, safety, and meaningful learning.

Each day, campers care for animals, work in the garden, explore the forest, and play outside. Children take part in real farm chores such as feeding and grooming animals, collecting eggs, watering crops, and maintaining garden beds. These experiences build responsibility, confidence, and practical skills.

Mornings focus on animal care, gardening, and active outdoor work. Afternoons include forest walks, outdoor games, seasonal crafts, and free play. Campers spend the majority of their day outdoors in small groups guided by experienced staff.
