PROGRAMS
At this time, The Barnyard Classroom is welcoming children who are born between 2018 and 2021, whose unfolding capacities call for warm rhythm, imaginative play, and purposeful work.

True to Waldorf tradition, we gather the young ones in mixed‑age groups, much like a family circle. Older children offer quiet leadership and loving example; younger ones bring wonder, spontaneity, and joy. Through daily tasks—kneading bread, tending seedlings, caring for the animals—they learn to help one another, to wait their turn, and to step forward when their gifts are needed. In this way, cooperation and community are lived, not merely taught.
By keeping our age span within three years, we honor both safety and soul needs: children find peers who share their interests, yet the difference in ages allows for rich imitation and mentoring. Within this carefully held environment, friendships take root, social skills blossom, and academic seeds are sown at a pace suited to each child’s stage of growth.

Here, on the farm and in the classroom, every child is invited to thrive—held by rhythm, nourished by beauty, and supported by a community that learns and grows together.
