Looking for a meaningful way to connect with animals and nature? Our Care & Cuddles experience offers families a private, hands-on visit with the friendly animals that call The Barnyard Classroom home.
This relaxed, interactive experience gives children and adults the opportunity to slow down, explore the farm, and create lasting memories together. Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to see your favourite animals, every visit is unique.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
Step into a slower pace of life and enjoy a one-of-a-kind farm experience filled with animal cuddles, hands-on learning, and unforgettable moments.
During your private guided visit, you'll meet our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goat family. Spend time with Mama Macadamia—affectionately known as Mama Mac—and her playful twin kids, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal. Help feed them treats, offer gentle scratches, and discover their unique personalities as they follow you around the farm.
You'll also have the opportunity to meet our beloved rabbit family. Meet sisters Bluey and Bingo, our beautiful rabbits mixed with White Fox, Chinchilla, and Californian rabbits, along with Bandit, our handsome Silver Fox rabbit. Feel their incredibly soft fur, learn how they communicate, and enjoy quiet moments connecting with these gentle animals.
Venture into the chicken yard, where you'll collect fresh eggs straight from the nesting boxes. Our hens lay a stunning rainbow of eggs in shades of cream, blue, green, chocolate brown, and speckled brown. You'll even have the opportunity to pick up and cuddle one of our friendly hens while learning about the life cycle of a chicken—from egg to chick to laying hen.
This is much more than a petting zoo. Our professional staff will guide your family through an immersive farm experience where you can ask questions, participate in daily farm routines, and learn how animals are cared for. Every visit is personalized, allowing plenty of time for meaningful interactions and hands-on exploration.

PRICING
$100 per 30 minutes
Our private farm experience is designed for small groups to ensure every guest has plenty of time to connect with the animals and enjoy a personalized farm experience.
• Minimum booking: 1 guest
• Maximum group size: 8 guests (every additional guest is $30)
• Little farmers under 2 years old attend free

FARM TOUR AGE & SAFETY INFORMATION
Our farm tours are recommended for children ages 4 and older.
Please keep in mind that our animals—especially our goats—are very friendly, curious, and social! They enjoy interacting closely with visitors and may approach you, lean against you, jump up, or attempt to climb on you.
If your child is nervous, fearful, or uncomfortable around animals, we strongly recommend preparing them for this type of interaction before your visit.
For everyone’s safety, participating children must be able to understand and follow simple safety instructions in English, including directions such as “yes,” “no,” “stop,” “wait,” and “come here.”
Parents and caregivers are responsible for supervising their children throughout the farm experience and helping them follow all instructions provided by farm staff.
ANIMAL INTERACTIONS
While we will always do our best to accommodate special requests, specific animal interactions cannot be guaranteed. For example, we cannot guarantee that your child will only feed a particular goat, feed a specific rabbit, or hold a certain chicken.
Our animals are living creatures with their own personalities, comfort levels, and choices. They are free to move around, approach visitors, or choose not to participate in an interaction. Part of the farm experience is learning to respect an animal’s boundaries and allowing them to choose how they interact with us.
