Summer Camp Week 8: Intro to Goats/Sheep
Monday August 17 - Friday August 21 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Available spots
Service Description
This week invites campers to get to know one of the farm’s most curious and playful animals — goats! Children learn about goat care through supervised, hands-on activities such as feeding, brushing, and observing goat behavior. Campers discover what goats eat, how they communicate, and why they are important farm animals, all while learning to move calmly and confidently around them. Through crafts, storytelling, and sensory play, children explore goat habitats, life cycles, and the unique features that make goats special. Activities may include building small “goat shelters” with natural materials, comparing hooves and footprints, and role-playing simple farm chores. This week encourages confidence, empathy, and respect for animals while allowing children to experience the joy and personality goats bring to farm life.
