Service Description
Private Farm Experience Slow down and enjoy a one-of-a-kind private farm experience filled with animal interactions, hands-on learning, and special family memories. During your guided visit, you'll meet our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goat family—Mama Macadamia ("Mama Mac") and her playful twins, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal. Feed treats, offer scratches, and learn about their personalities while they interact with you around the farm. You'll also meet our rabbits, Bluey, Bingo, and Bandit, and learn about rabbit care while enjoying the opportunity to gently pet them under staff guidance. Next, venture into the chicken yard to collect fresh eggs straight from the nesting boxes. Discover eggs in beautiful shades of cream, blue, green, chocolate brown, and speckled brown, meet our hens, and learn about their daily care and life cycle. More than a traditional petting zoo, our private farm experience is educational, interactive, and personalized. Our staff will guide your family through the experience, answer questions, and provide plenty of opportunities to connect with our animals and nature. IMPORTANT AGE & SAFETY INFORMATION This experience is recommended for children ages 4 and older. Our animals are friendly and accustomed to people; however, our goats are especially social, curious, and interactive. They may approach closely, lean against you, jump up, or attempt to climb on visitors. Children who are nervous or uncomfortable around animals should be prepared for this before visiting. For everyone's safety, participating children must be able to understand and follow simple safety instructions in English, including "yes," "no," "stop," "wait," and "come here." Parents/caregivers are responsible for supervising their children throughout the experience. HOW IT WORKS 1. Complete the Waiver Complete our online waiver before booking. 2. Select Your Preferred Date Choose the date you would like to visit. 3. Receive Confirmation We will email you to confirm your visit date and time based on availability. 4. Submit Your E-Transfer Once confirmed, send your payment by e-transfer. 5. You're Booked! Once payment is received, your private farm experience is officially confirmed. We can't wait to welcome you to The Barnyard Classroom!
Cancellation Policy
Thank you so much for registering your child with us! We are truly excited to welcome your family to our farm and share the joys of nature and animals with you. As a small, community-focused business, we strive to offer meaningful, hands-on experiences that nurture both mind and spirit. In order to maintain the sustainability of our program and honor the time and resources dedicated to each child, we must kindly inform you that we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations once a spot has been reserved. We deeply appreciate your understanding and support as we continue to grow and provide enriching experiences for all families.
