Service Description
🌿 April Homeschool Learning Pod (Grades 1–3) Our April Homeschool Learning Pod blends academics with hands-on, nature-based learning. Through meaningful experiences on the farm, students engage in literacy, math, and science in ways that feel connected, purposeful, and real. Each week is thoughtfully designed to follow the rhythms of the season while supporting curriculum-based learning through play, exploration, and observation. 🌷 Week 1: April 1st – Easter & Natural Egg Dyeing Students will celebrate the arrival of spring by exploring natural egg dyeing using ingredients such as beets and other plant-based materials. This hands-on activity connects creativity, science, and seasonal traditions. 🐐 Week 2: April 8 – Feeding & Caring for Baby Goats Students will learn about the care of baby goats, focusing on feeding routines while building empathy, responsibility, and an understanding of animal care on the farm. 🌱 Week 3: April 15 – Planting & Growth Students will explore how plants grow from seeds and what they need to survive. Through hands-on planting and observation, they will learn about the life cycle of plants. 🪵 Week 4: April 22 – Building a Safe Space for Goats Students will explore how we create safe environments for animals by building fences. Through observation and outdoor exploration, they will learn why goats need space to move, play, and stay protected. 🌼 Week 5: April 29 – Spring on the Farm Students will explore the seasonal changes that come with spring, including new growth, fresh beginnings, and life on the farm during this time of year. 💛 Each day is rooted in connection—to the land, to animals, and to each other—while building foundational academic skills in a warm, small-group setting.
